It’s AES Assumption English School Graduation Day before my O levels, and due to the lack of time in my schedule during my studying time than, I had to postpone this blog post to my holidays. And hey, I found some time to fill this into the large database of my life. Anyway, this blog post marks the 400th milestone of the blog’s post. Yes! This is indeed amazing.
To start it off, after we had assembled for the morning assembly, we were told to sit around the courtyard. The instructions are than shown by having 2 teachers holding a A3 paper for almost 300 students.

We were lazing around, like unknown spirits.

Those who had no good sits were forced to look for their souls around the vinicity.

Some shots around the area while we were hanging around the courtyard and the staff were making their final arrangements before they move us all in and you know, preventive measures and just in case(s).

Hang on, no idea what they were (Serene and Hiu Kee) trying to say, but they were bringing a message across.
EDIT: They later told us to hit upstairs to the hall, using just 2 ladies for the introduction, and having a whole pile of teaching staff heading down right after that.

We were later escorted into the hall, and seated in the plans which the teachers were holding.

While we were seated in the hall / waiting for everyone else. Yee Tat took out a chocolate bar, which immediately lit up Wei Jun’s eyes, and they ended up eating in the hall, which caught my attention and tickled my backbones while Vi Jian stares at the horrifying liquid like chocolate in the background.

All of us, seated.

Opening prayer and greetings is done by Brother Emmanuel, of course, one of the chairs of the school’s board.

Followed by Mr Benedict Keh, the school’s principal, for his opening speech.

The graduation certificates and testimonials is given by Mr Charles Hong, the Vice Principal and the special certificates of Merit is given by the principal.

Got my certificates from the Principal himself.

Kah Wei and me – Have you played Angry Birds?

After that, we had a candle sharing session.

Don’t ask me what my dear friends are trying to do here. I just don’t wish to comment on bad PR ![]()

A view from the top, everyone holding a candle. The spirit of sharing and learning with the companion of one another. We sang a song with the candle anyway.

We sang the school song, as usual, like every other school event.

We left the hall with our testimonials.
Nobody knows the day after this.
