The Water and Electricity Problem

Recently, you guys may know that there are problems around recently. I am not going to mention where this problem first started off or what happened. But as you read on, you may guess where this may have occurred.
I don’t usually have a blog post full of text, but this will definitely be one worth writing, and probably get your viewpoints onto it. (Twitter:@jeremy89632)

Recently, one of the 2 big pumps which pumped water was down and had problems. Actually, no student was informed about this, until the person in charge came to told me about it as I am digging for more news about this.
One perfect day, we went to the water cooler to press for water, and when we see what came out, we looked in awe, it was ‘cloudy’ water, like some kind of chalk-like looking substance in the water. We immediately advised everyone to go to the water cooler on the first floor instead. Imagine the poor guy which has drank the contaminated water, bless that poor soul.
Than we went to the toilet and pressed for water, and guess what came out, it was air! All of us were like stunned, and no one said anything, not even the staff/teachers nor the management.

It was a total inconvenient, all water related issues, like drinking water all had to be done on the first floor, where we are on the 3rd floor. (Imagine those people on the 5th floor)
Only the water for the urinals (I guess), was working, the rest was totally out of service.

So we were discussing today during lesson that why the water went out and we gathered a few possibilities.
1) Person in charge did not pay water bills
2) Maintainance was not done promptly.
3) Water pipes was out and probably had some flooding somewhere
4) In an desperate attempt to cut cost.

Option 1 is definitely out, and we were all thinking on Option 2 and 4.
Reason being so is because no one actually mentioned that the water is down except for one of our subject teachers.

After that, I asked the in-charge he said that the pump is down and this relates much back to National Education and we must not take water for granted and treasure every single drop of it.
I agree to it, learning takes place it real life.

So, that is all about the water saga that happens in school.

Well, after those 3 to 4 days of living in the desert and getting drinks from the canteen (Uncle Robert), one of the pumps is back running and the repairman will be fixing the problem this Saturday, which means, if everything goes fine, and there will be no flood, if not all students will be swimming to school, the water should be back next week. One more small annoyance,
The next thing is about the electricity to my block of classrooms, the power has tripped more than 10 times in a month last year. Which basically means, when you study / teacher teaching halfway, the lights and fans will just be mysteriously switched off with no warning.
And when that happens, you know the whole block of classrooms have their power cut off too, as you will hear people shouting ‘WAAAAAA!’ from all the neighboring classes.
My Point: The switchboard is too old, and re-wiring is somehow crazy, but too bad, you have to stay with it until we leave the classrooms.

One last point, sometimes opinions really matter, what may seem good on one end may be different from the other.
Well, in the end, it all adds up to calculated risk.

If all could change..
BYE Annoyances.
