Ed Note: The problem is fixed in the new WordPress 2.9.1 go and get em!

Recently this blog was upgraded to WordPress 2.9 in the midnight, so if there is any problems which will arise, you guys wont be able to see it anyway.
Unless, its a big problem, which I hope, its unlikely to occur.

Once after upgrading the platform, all security issues is fixed, but there are problems!
Technical issues is always ongoing in the technology world.
But hey! All human made mistakes right?

My blog runs over the WordPress.org Self Hosted edition and basically, I have to pay (or folk out cash) to run this site itself. Basically there was 3 bugs which is causing the problem and the scheduling system to fail.
Here is overview of 3 bugs (problems) causing on this blog over the midnight, until it was fixed at 5:26pm (+8 UTC)
- One major bug was simply dismissed;
- A related critical bug was only partially fixed;
- A last critical bug (and its child bug) crept in at the last moment.
As a result of this:
- RSS widgets are completely broken on servers that are missing both of iconv and multi-byte string functions;
- The curl transport is broken on some servers with an outdated library. This breaks the WP cron, and with it future posting, pings, etc.
The fix for this problem can be downloaded here

Alright, so let me explain to you basically what problem is there, anyway, who understands that cheem sentences above anyway!
Let me show you the system behind this blog you are looking at right now, its pretty complex and there are many plugins running at the same time while you are looking at it now.

Every single day, I would have to meet this posting screen on my blog, it looks similar to wordpress.com, but I did minor changes to suit my needs. (Eg, extra customization options, added editing and inputing options)

After typing my post, sometimes I would want to schedule it, so you wont be seeing 200 posts in a day. So input the date and time I want this blog post to show up.

After fixing the right date and time for this post to show up. It says, scheduled!
You might be thinking, wow, no problems what! Whats wrong!

But once the scheduled time is reached, it will say ” Missed Schedule” and whatever blog post I wrote and scheduled will not show up.

And thats what caused the whole problem.
