Pretty much, always buy from somewhere or someone which is big! Buying from a big company minimizes the potential of getting a counterfeit product.

The standard market price is $45, even when I went to Sim Lim Square to check, I think thats the retail price and there’s no bargain on that.

When opened, this is how it basically looked like, not too pretty, and it fails to come with a pouch. Which can be better in terms of packaging.

Well, without a pouch means that Creative have to give some earbuds, which they did.

Every creative EP630 comes with a one year warrenty from Creative, and PLEASE, keep the receipt!

As for sound wise, the bass is really tight and you can feel it when you use a decent MP3 player. I felt that the EP630 really lack vocals, even after 30 hours of burning in (Using it), I still feel that vocals is totally not clear, which is bad if you are listening to many podcasts.
Soundstage was quite good, given the strong and muddy sounding bass, however I could never fail to emphasize about the lacking vocals.

The Ep630 could do better if they were to throw in a free pouch, and not get one from Creative themselves. The EP630 has really good performance as a whole, and it could be considered as one of the best in the mid $50′s range.
