Here we count down the top 5 working habits which I see when SOME Singaporeans is working.
Again, this is in my own opinion, and its what I see around my workspace or spaces I went to.
5) Keep it Short, Sharp and Sweet
( Is there anything else? Nothing? Bye! )
4) I’m First!
( Sorry Sir, Let me discuss where to go for lunch first )
3) No Time
( You might want to call back later, as I am busy .. )
2) Persuading Actions
( Okay, I will help you in this. *Walks away soon after)
1) Tomorrow, also can
( You get what that means )
–
HOWEVER, there is another top 5 good golden rules to mention.
Which I have seen in some promising companies and heard from some Fortune 500′s.
5) Prompt Response
( People willing to work overnight just to respond to customers and clear their E-Mail for the next day )
4) Staff Welfare
( More companies in Singapore seems to be better in Staff Welfare now, compared to a few years back. It could be a simple gesture but it goes a long way for the companies working reputation )
3) Smile ![]()
( Singaporeans is now more educated than before and thus, more courteous to other people )
2) Cheers!
( More and more staff seems to be able to have fun and get work done even in their own desk! )
1) KIASU.
( Official Singaporeans Trademark to get everything at the lowest price possible which makes us unique )
