Happy National Day to all.
And Yes, I spent the day studying.
And No, I didnt buy or ballot any tickets to go National Day Parade at Marina Bay 09.
Well, but for those who went, I heard it was spectacular and fun.
And for those who didn’t go, lets kick out and watch NDP on TV (Channel 5) or over the MediaCorp’s Site.
By watching NDP2009 over the internet, make sure you have Microsoft’s Silverlight on the computer.
Actually, I am really disappointed on why Mediacorp wanted to use Silverlight instead of Adobe Flash for online streaming, I know, I know, good compression and blablabla.
Wait, you can never forget how reliable flash is, and how Flash has performed in this market.

Alright, so lets check out the NDP’s website to see some live stuff from NDP 2009.
So, after downloading Microsoft’s Silverlight Plugin, I must download another 3rd party plugin called Octoshape.
Octoshape Plugin for Mac.
Octoshape Plugin for Windows.
Dang, but no plugin for Linux.
After that, than can use. Mmm, so many steps just to watch NDP.
Can’t they just use UStream or something, oh my.

Alright, moving on to normal news.
I found out about something really special, no offence to anyone.
Do you notice that Maths Teachers is really bad in English.
While English Teacher do not do well for Maths.
Have you checked out the spoofed National Day Pledge?
We, the passengers of MRT, poise ourselves as 1 united kiasu. Regardless of pregnant women, elderly & little children, to chiong in when the doors open, so as to achieve seats, sleep & rest.
