Yup, after visiting the Comex and Safari IT shows back in 2008.

I’m back to the IT Show 2009 and I love to tell you that I enjoy squeezing with people in queues, even when taking escalators, it can be a terrible headache.
To be frank with you, I now learn that Saturday was never a good day to visit the IT Show, I should have went there on Friday. Look at the crowd:

Which is why Suntec City was equally smart:

This may be a reason why consumers wouldn’t want to spend their money, which is because of Queues, Crowds and people shouting over microphones.
Another reason for the poor management maybe due to this signboard:

Basically, The deals are quite awesome, although I only manage to get a 8GB card, its still worth the squeeze over there. Let me show you some of the big brands over there:

A software which I relies very often for its light scanning engine, which takes very very little resources and sometimes, it does its job better than some Norton or Mcafee antivirus, in my opinion.

AVG antivirus was there as well, as you know, AVG is very popular for its free version of antivirus as its user interface is very ‘clean and tidy’

Acer was there, showing off their new lines of Laptops.

Nikon.

LG, the Korean company which produces a whole line of electronics, like Phones and even Notebooks.
![]()
D-Link, which specializes in Routers and Modems.
![]()
Dell, which is your typical I-See-On-Newspaper Laptop brand, and its doing very well.
![]()
Fuji Xerox, which their main focus in is corporate printers.

As well as Sony, which they used so much space doing marketing and sales.

HP, which is an old-school brand. Nothing of much change, except now their logo look nicer and they dont have that old-styled look back in the 90s.
To cover, the IT Show is nice. But the management of people is not effective. They have to draw proper markers and lines on the floor, rather than to engage one or two security guards to manage.
