Infocomm Club – First Session 2009

Its a brand new year, once again, and we managed to get around 20+ Sec 1′s students to Infocomm Club. Wish to Thank all the crew that was with me during the marketing day

Dont worry, although I seem to be a little more busy, I am still blogging but do expect that some days I cant blog, or if I can, I will try using my mobile. ( LifeBlog Mobile )

Today the Sec 1′s came in, they are pretty goofy and excited. ( Same reactions when I first joined ) . We showed them some Novell marketing videos, followed by some other videos from Big Buck Bunny and a few others. I also showed the Validation Video which you can check it out over here, I blogged that a few weeks back though and I named by post as ‘ Get Yourself Smiling in 16mins and 23Secs “. If you missed that, click this link to see what you left out.

After the presentation at the AVT, they went to the Computer Lab for Free N Easy testout of the SuSE Linux platform. Which is, we will let the Sec 1′s try out how Linux is like and let them play with it for an hour or so but just during that time the Ed Board wants to hold an interview about Open Source.

And yes, they gotta go and get equipment (:
