After staying up till 4am last night, to rush off my blog and to settle the Boys Town Carnival Preparations work, I woke up today at 10am! Which is kind of late.
I was sending mass SMSes to people informing them for the Wizard of Oz play which happens at the national library. As usual, I will start throwing photos and explain them.
This is more like photolog!

When you subscibe to Mio TV, you can see this show called ‘ Gossip Girl ‘ , Good form of advertising.

Im going to post a little more today.
Today, I went to 4 places, and this 4 places make me run the whole day.
- AES
- St James Power Station (Youth Infocomm Day)
- Apple Store (Again)
- Orchard Cineplex

Talking about Linux, this is what Raffy wrote, I hereby quote:
RaffY:
security defence….hahahahahaha
RaffY:
who would need to put virus in it when itself can create virus
RaffY:
who would need security defence when itself is a hackers tool
RaffY:
aiyo… you need to learn abt it my friend
IT MAKE SENSE RIGHT?

Woke up today, went to AES, to hope onto a taxi which will bring us to St James. St James Registeration Counter for the Youth Infocomm Day was open.
Today, was officially the day that I was chosen to be a Infocomm Club Ambassador for Singapore. So my role is to gather feedback from other members from Infocomm and other development units and report back to IDA (which was the headquaters for us )

Welcome to DragonFly Club - St James Power!

That is our pals!

Kickstarting the event

Teachers and Students, Both Alike, Discussing about their schools and matters.

The DJ/Emcee for the day is Daniel Ong from 98.7FM!

Fire Performance!

Performance is well liked by both Students and Teachers.

St James Power, Bar!

Thanks to this Temasek Polytechnic guy for giving me 30 mins of his time explaining to me his Polytechnic’s new fingerprint Biometric game.

One of the polytechnic’s even offer the F1 Simulator game! Cool right?

Have Fun!

After that, we left St James and went to Vivo for a walk.

Dropped by the Apple Store, Apple is giving away free Windows XP, as they celebrate some anniversary or something.
Who says that everyone like Mac, Me myself still use Windows Server 2008 for home computing and I still use it as a Workstation.
Not everyone uses Linux, but I still touch on it a little, Ubuntu and OpenSUSE.
Later we decided to watch High School Musical 3 at Orchard Cineplax!

To my surprise, I have never like reading their ultra long books, but a movie will clear the books better! The Twilight Series!
X2 This Poster!!

These two companies love to fight, now they bought it down to Orchard and allow customers to order from both fast food outlets and sit on their same sit.
Good! More Choice, More Companies, More Competition. = Less Prices (:
As to cover why the prices will drop
If I were to buy a McChicken from Mcdonalds for $2.
If KFC is selling at $3, which one will I buy?
So having both stores there keep the prices competitive and to add onto that the creativity on both stores will increase. Both KFC and McDonalds will try to come out new products, new burgers in order to fight and win the competitors.
If you do not know, this few years, McDonald’s has been losing money on its food product (accordiing to its headquarters in US) , but they have make money on real estate value.

This is the Popcorn that we ate in the cinemas. Yes, it was taken under the chair in the cinema.

While in the toilet, I noticed this. Goodness, the place still smells. Not too bad la.

Although I didnt win any handphones, wii, xBox or other stuffs.
I still got my blazer as an ambassador.
That guy who got the Wii, Im so.. jealous.
Ahahas.
Congrats to those people who got the Challenger Vouchers! Wow! You guys are real lucky and specially to one guy who Won a Walkman phone! You’re so DAMN LUCKY.
Special Congrats to one of the Infocomm Ambassador’s (ICA) which won a Challenger Voucher!
And one more shoutout to a guy from Raffles Institution which won 7 iPod’s, 10 Adobe Products and a Wii,
ALL BY HIMSELF! As he created this Facebook application called ’Friendshippr ‘ (or something like that)
WOW!
Not into games though, mmm.
Why would I want a Wii??
I can put Linux on it and use it like a Computer!
Ahahas.
Jeremy.
